Before baby arrives.

Melbourne in-home maternity photography.

Waiting for You

Whether it’s your first baby or your fourth, there’s something about this waiting time. The way your body changes. The feeling that everything’s about to shift.

There’s no pressure to be anything other than yourself.

You don’t need anything elaborate or overly styled to document your pregnancy. Home is more than enough.

Most mums tell me afterwards how glad they are they had pregnancy photos taken, and how much they miss their bump once it’s gone.

What your maternity session feels like

Your maternity session will feel easy and relaxed.

Nothing forced or overly posed, just some reassuring direction from me. Your session is focussed on remembering this incredible time and the days you spent nesting and preparing at home before meeting your bub.

Timing your session

I usually suggest booking your maternity session for around 32 to 34 weeks.

By then, you’ll have a beautiful belly to show off, but still feel comfortable enough to move around with ease.

We’ll chat about what feels right for you.

Don't stress about what to wear

This doesn’t have to be complicated. A soft knit, jeans, and a loose shirt, whatever feels most like you.

You might even like to capture a few bare belly moments. The kind you’ll look back on once bub arrives and think, I can’t believe that was you in there.

Once you book, you’ll receive a welcome guide to help make outfit choices feel easy and stress-free.

Packages start from $780

Totally normal. Most pregnant mums tell me exactly the same thing. It’s not every day you’re having your photo taken with a belly out front!

The good news is that you don’t need to know what you’re doing. I’ll guide you along the way and keep things relaxed and chatty. We’ll have a laugh, spend some time together, and before long you’ll forget the camera is even there.

A quick tidy of any obvious clutter is more than enough. We’ll only use a few pockets of your home where the light is lovely, so there’s no need for a deep clean.

And remember, I’m a mum too. Your home doesn’t need to be perfect for beautiful photographs.

I promise I’m not looking at your laundry pile!
